Yeah, in the recent chapters shit has really hit the fan.

I don't want to spoil too much, but it's not one big "...and they lived happily ever after" sequel.

 

Love this story. It's got some touchy-feely, but it's definitely one of the best stories in the fandom.
It's well crafted and well written. It actually approaches ideas that aren't rehashes. I can't wait to see what he does with the exams, because he took the wave arc and all of its elements and created a nearly identical but at the same time completely unique and interesting alternative.

And since she killed off Madara in a very believable fashion, it's actually extremely gratifying to read the story with no clue where it's going. Plus, Mikoto and Itachi are the most ninja-like ninjas I've seen in the fandom.
