I stumbled across this jewel real late at night when I couldn't sleep.

It's short, but poignant; I actually had to sit back and take a breather after reading this. The way this fic unfolds is incredible.

It's the last lines that hit the hardest.

An excellent read and a grand find. I, however, was expecting it was a completely different meaning to the title; was hoping for a foreshadowing hint at its direction.

That would have been much more interesting. And a bit more complicated, too. Being locked away down under and finding someone that brought the same interest of Anna on a different side of the scale... After all, Taste the fruits of Hades and you may never leave.

See, this is why I never get anything done with my real stories - I'm too busy chasing rabbits.

I liked this story, even though it's very brief, because it hints at what Dean supposedly "left behind in Hell" according to Alistair. I haven't found many stories that dealt with Dean's time Down Under (c wut I did thar?) without going into an angst-fest. This nicely circumvented that trope and added in a dash of horror, while staying true to canon.
