I was reading a Fullmetal Alchemist story last week and I've lost the link and would appreciate any help people could give me.


When Al and Ed were children they went and searched for the Philosophers Stone.

They found some research on some old style alchemy, which is alchemy that takes time and is not instant.

Over the course of a few months they grow their mother a new body.

Then they try to get her soul they succeed, but also a spirt of some sort took over her body and absorbed there mothers soul.

That spirt is some sort of genie / slave thing that has to follows its masters orders but Ed and Al gave it freedom.

Al is getting automail in the latest chapter I read.
