Just got a mail that my copy will be delivered tomorrow. I think they forgot it's not the 27th yet, lol. Get hype! I know what I'll be doing tomorrow. Anyone else got it early yet?

I pre ordered the Kindle version, doubt there will be any mess up with those...

 

First time I've paid extra to get it delivered on release day since OOTP was released - and I got that 2 weeks after it came out so I'm a little hesitant about getting all excited for the 27th.

Sufficed to say I envy you right now, which will turn to hate if they actually deliver. Man, now I'm gonna be sat waiting for my e-mail from Amazon.

 

I get mine tomorrow or friday night if everything goes right (PST) so that's a thing. I'm pretty hype

 

Just checking my e-mail before turning in and saw one from Amazon. I got all excited thinking my book would be arriving today but nope;

"Hello,
We regret to inform you that the following items have been delayed:
Jim Butcher - Skin Game (Dresden Files)
Estimated arrival date: June 02 2014"

... Lesson learned, don't bother paying extra to receive items on release day. Fingers crossed this means I get the extra I paid for shipping returned to me but still pretty pissed off. Another week spent avoiding the spoilers thread, damn it Amazon you had one job.

Just e-mailed support asking when I'll be refunded as the e-mail says they won't charge me for shipping and I'm not entirely sure if they took the money off me back when I ordered in February - I imagine they did.

 

Amazon never charges until they ship the order, so you shouldn't need a refund.

Unless you ordered it along with something else that has already been shipped to you. I think they'd still hold off on charging you for the book, but I'm not certain.

 

Yeah, I never could remember with pre-orders if they charged you when you order it or when it ships - turns out it's when it ships; just got another e-mail through saying its been dispatched and should be with me tomorrow, the delivery charge has been removed.

Not as bad as my OOTP fiasco but still, beats their estimate of June 2nd.
