For one of my fics I am planning to have a vicious prank war between two different factions of Slytherin. So I am fishing for ideas.

What kinds of pranks would you pull if you didn't care if someone were hurt in the process?

 

Pranking seems like something that the stuck-up junior socialites in Slytherin (the rich pureblood kids at least) would probably consider to be beneath them. After all, the most notorious pranksters in the school are the Weasley twins, and I can't see Malfoy and the like doing ANYTHING that could be compared to those blood traitors. Marauder stuff has never been my forte sadly, so I can't offer much beyond that.

 

I agree with Sera, maybe if it was a half blood or mudblood sorta in, and they pranked the rest of the house, instead of a dual sided prank war it'd work better.

Transfiguring underwear to violently bite when worn for longer then 5 minutes I'd say would be a fun start.

 

Only on guys though. For girls, their clothes should get smaller and smaller as the day goes on.

 

I really don't like it when pranks start playing a part in fics, unless thats the entire point of the fic. Especially when they form the New Marauders and start giving eachother nicknames and such. It always seems way too immature and most of the pranks aren't funny or original. Sorry.

 

Agree I cant stand it when they give themselves nicknames and doing stupid pranks, it also wont help against Voldie. But if I think more clearly about it......




Voldemort kept evading the spells sent at him and reflection the ones he could, but eventually even the best dark lord gets hit and so it was no suprise to him when a bright pink beam hits him square on the chest. Voldemort was prepared to feel his blood boil and to have his skin ripped of him but he wasnt a fool. He knew that nobody would use such harmless spells in a live and death duel. So he was totally unprepared when......... his undargarments turned pink!!!!
Voldemort looked at Harry in total shock. He hadn´t expected this. The Crucio, sure. The Avada Kadavra, of course. But that was cruel and even for him and for the first time Voldemort saw what true darkness is and he suddered in fear. Now he knew why he was unable to defeat him. Because he, Lord Voldemort, had found his Master. And with that he bowed to the greatest dark lord in history, who grinned crazylie and had a glint in his eyes which promised the world decades of suffering.
