Been listening to mostly oddities at this point -- stuff that jumps out at me as original "sounding".

Been in a bit of a Japanese mood lately and through pure chance found Tsuko G.'s version of Airman Ga Taosenai while looking up an old Mega Man song I'd heard years ago. Love this dude's version over the one I was familiar with previously.

Another pretty damned good band out of Australia that my daughter found. I'm digging the rock scene down there.

    Mortal Man - Kendrick Lamar

TPAB was the first full album I listened to. I don't generally listen to music so I only did this because a friend put on the record. However, this was a great ending to an already great album.

Been on a hipster-y indie kick for a while, after playing Life is Strange back in January.

Current earworm is Made of Stone by Daughter, but I like a lot of their stuff. Dips a bit into teen angst territory but I'm fond of the contemplative, melancholic melodies.

To quote another song, "I just can't get you out of my head..."

I feel it coming by the Weeknd

It's not a surprise to anyone who already knows about this song, but the moment he started singing I thought "holy shit, a Michael Jackson song". Turns out I'm really late to the party with that realization. Production from Daft Punk don't hurt either. I'm listening to this way too much, like Get Lucky in ole 2013. It's just so goddamn charming and groovy.

Murder to the Mind by Tash Sultana. Actually, anything she does is my song of the month right now. I can't get enough.

No Role Models by J Cole. I enjoy his older stuff but keep coming back to this album. I enjoy everything on it. Someone mentioned To Pimp a Butterfly by Kendrick, while I don't like that album too much, I still enjoy Section 80.

Also Wales The Album about Nothing. Fucking love the Seinfeld sampling.

Went and saw these guys in Portlandia a few months ago, they were amazing live. My favorite song of theirs.

Youtuber Miracle of Sound makes songs based on games, films, TV series, and more. His newest is an 80s-style song, synths and all, about Stranger Things. It's catchy in that peculiar 80s way, and a thoroughly enjoyable listen. The video does spoil heavily, so stick to sound only if you haven't finished S2.

Holy shit. I opened the channel just to see what else was there since I'm not into Stranger Things and When the Wolves Cry Out started up so I decided to listen, I wasn't expecting an actual song just some cool music. Got that on repeat right now. Best thing I've heard in weeks.
