    Game Over !

    Mafia Wins!

The day draws to a close.

Town eyes each other suspiciously, before shrugging, and dragging Elliot up to the noose.

    Everyone helps.

Surely that isn't suspicious at all.

    MathBlade has been lynched!

Fontisian, Miner, Ecophagy, Cobalt die at endgame!

Jan, Quiddity, DLGN, and His Fluffiness win!

    Quicktopics: https://www.quicktopic.com/share?s=Hh6P

Town MVP: Ecophagy. At times the only voice of reason in a sea of apathy. You nailed the scum team completely in your large vote count analysis post, only to get talked out of it. Your effort in end game was admirable when you were effectively the only one putting in effort. The constant stream of "Poor Eco" in spoiled observer chat indicates this one is squarely yours.

Scum MVP: I think I'll stay positive here, and instead of awarding it to almost the entire town, I'll give it to the entire scum team instead. No, they didn't play magnificently, leading town around in circles, but they didn't have to. They simply just stayed out of the way as town led themselves off the cliff to their fiery train wreck at the bottom. Well done on being a cohesive team!

Moderator Notes: First, a reminder, as always, to keep post-game civil. Yes, people made mistakes. Yes, people made questionable decisions. Yes, people were wrong. No, screaming at them will accomplish nothing.

More thoughts will come later, but this was very much a game that was lost because Town was not willing to accept they could be wrong, and never re-evaluated as necessary.

But let's try to keep things positive in post game. No, people did not play well, but they're well aware of the fact they didn't play well, already. Congratulate scum for doing what they needed to do, to win, and I'll see you guys in the next game, hopefully!

Thanks for playing, everyone, and a special thanks to Ecophagy for replacing in!

    Geniuses, lower your voices
You keep out of trouble and you double your choices
I'm with you, but the situation is fraught
You've got to be carefully taught:
If you talk, you're gonna get shot!

    Jan, check what we got
Mister dLGN, hard rock like Lancelot
I think your pants look hot
His Fluffiness, I like you a lot
Let's hatch a plot blacker than the kettle callin' the pot...
What are the odds the gods would put us all in one spot
Poppin' a squat on conventional wisdom, like it or not
A bunch of revolutionary manumission abolitionists?
Give me a position, show me where the ammunition is!

Oh, am I talkin' too loud?
Sometimes I get over excited, shoot off at the mouth
I never had a group of friends before
    I promise that I'll make y'all proud

MVP is definitely Eco, but also a shout out to Typhon. Very wrong early, but he used his shot well, and his final reevaluation was very close, and he was generally putting in work throughout.

That last exchange threw the scumthread into a bit of a panic, but no one really looked at it again.

    Erm.

Yeah, there was a lot of things that I did wrong this game. I'm sorry for all of them, most notably activity issues.

But c'mon, that Quiddity "Hey let's lynch Math because everyone else wants to lynch Math" was literally exactly what I did with Proph in HP mafia.

GG WP, thanks Eido for hosting.

    Mmm.

Well done to fluff, this was miles above any mafia play I've seen from you.

I mean yes. I definitely played the last day suboptimally, and gathered a bit of suspicion for it.

On the other hand, I threaded the needle of suspecting dLGN without letting him become consensus lynch well, and steered Eco onto Math making a change impossible.

    So it's a mixed bag.

Also I instantly scumread dLGN as soon as Cobalt said he was his ride or die.

For some reason it triggered something in me. "Cobalt is being hard pocketed."

    Definitely.

It's also that my scum!cases tend to have more to them than my town!cases, if I'm scum.

    Anyway next game.

And maybe if the town could be less "it's my way or the highway," that'd be cool too.

I find myself not as eager to play as I once was. :(

So if there's immediately another game, maybe I'll /replace for the first time instead of /in.

But if the next game's in like a month then I feel like I'd be down again.
