    Title: Still Another Universe
    Author: transportation
    Rating: T
    Genre: Adventure
    DLP-Category: The Alternates
    Pairing: Harry/ofc

Summary: Harry has killed Voldemort, and not for the first time. Instead of enjoying his victory, he's dragged to still another universe to do it all over again. But this time, it's August of 1981. Response/sequel to Silverfawkes' Yet Another Universe challenge.

I came across this one when I looked for dimension travel stories. To be blunt: This story is average, almost recommendable for those who look for dimension travel / time travel stories. But it's medium sized and complete, a nice timewaster for in between. So if you are interested in these kind of stories, give it a try.

The problem of the story is that it really lacks tension and conflict. There is some tension, a climatic battle, there are some problems with Dumbledore, but all in all everything is going (too) easy and (too) smooth.

The author uses a nice way on how to deal with Voldemort, though similar methods are seen every now and then. And then the end - really predictable but the idea isn't bad - could have been pulled way better.

    All in all: 3/5

That's basically the perfect description. The story arc is there and it's not badly written, but there's never any doubt what the conclusion will be. It's an inexorable march towards Voldemort's death, one in which Voldemort's appearance and participation is almost an afterthought. There's nothing really wrong with this story, it's just... average.

I didn't like this. It felt like less of a story and more of a narration of events.

I couldn't get past the opening scene where everyone automatically trusts Harry enough to walk off with him and follow his orders, after he verbally snarls at Dumbledore. Ugh.

I have a feeling I've read the prequel to this many years ago.

This is unremarkable to mind numbing proportions.

The prequel is a lowest tier guilty pleasure. And this fic is bad because it ignores like 75% of the prequel.... otherwise on par for the author, nothing great but you can read it.

The story's alright. Pretty average, but still good grammar, etc. 3/5 from me.
