Feeling rather bored, I tried to make a sig.

    Constructive criticism appreciated. :)

Could you post a link to the larger file size?

From what little I can see the only problem would be how much free space there is. What program did you use?

Is that done in photoshop or paintshop? How did you do the scan lines, layering with filter colours? its fairly nice, though the bottom right hand is that wording? If so is it supposed to be legible?

    Just wondering, nice job though.

There's a lot of empty space. Fill it up with a texture of some kind, or duplicate the picture of the girl and try positioning it else on the banner/siggy. Very good blending, nice red background, and the horizontal lines look is great. Have you considered using lighting effects?

I think it would be better if you try to erase the scanlines above the render
I also think you could make your background a bit less monotone .
The scanlines are quite nicely done.

A hint: Now I can see you made this red background first, then the render and maybe a bit blended, then the scanlines and at the end the text. (or that is wat it seems like to me)
Try giving your sig a more whole look if you see what I mean.
Use the same colours of the render in your background and so on.
I ,for example, often use my render to make my background.( duplicate him a few times and spread him out over the sig and then do some effects on it.) But that's just what I do.

But for a first attempt it really is very good.
