I recently read this fantasy series and it’s absolutely one of the best fantasy stories I have ever read. Lovely character and an intriguing plot that makes you read and read until it’s all over and you sit there and pray that there will be a sequel.

If you haven’t read this trilogy; put on your shoes and run to the nearest library or bookshop and by it. You will not be disappointed.

    The Black Magician Trilogy:

    Book One: The Magicians' Guild

    Book Two: The Novice

    Book Three: The High Lord

Yes, do tell us a little bit more. If it sounds any good I might have to go searching for them.

It's not that much action in it. It's more realistic and what could happen in a magical world. Don't expect warriors with 2 meter long swords.

I think its all the politics with the magician's council, it gets tedious fast.

I remember taking a look at the first book a few years ago, but I didn't have enough money to buy it and when I came back to get it I couldn't find it. Hopefully I will remember to get it this year with the gift cards I no doubt am getting.

It was some months ago that I read a real book. Never read an e-book, triad once, but I quit after 15 minutes. I rather go to the library if I want to read a book.

For the last years, the only time I read books is when I am on vacation, and I usually don’t have internet or a computer then.

    What are these books about?

Are they all mired down in Politics (See George Lucas's New Star Wars For an Example)
