Harry's kickass, he has HK-47 as a companion. He isn't Jedi nor Sith. He's somewhat like HJ from TLIL. He's a complete bastard all around. Yeah, I like this Harry. And I like this story. 4.5/5. The only reason it wasn't a full 5/5 is because of the (relatively) slow pacing of the story itself. But that can be excused, as the content is fanfuckingtastic.

    What is HJ from TLIL?

Sorry about those abbreviations, HJ from TLIL is Harry-James, which is what Harry calls himself in The Lie I've Lived. The reason Harry from the Havoc Side of the Force reminded me of HJ is because he's free-spirited, although admittedly not that crass and crude, but definitely sharing some resemblance with HJ.

I read the fic once a long time ago so I never would have remembered that. Thanks for clearing that up though.

This. The story is very entertaining. I know it has severe flaws but it's fun. That's all that matters, guilty pleasure or not.

Harry steamrolling everything is over the top and might get old, though. A tone down might be necessary. I can understand why someone could start reading but put it down midway, even if the story has low word count at the moment.

    4.5 rounded down to 4.
Has it's flaws (and bad ones, too) but I take it for what it is. Not perfect but fun.

And now I remember why I love this guy's writing. He can pretty much suck you in his story for some unknown reason.

A Harry Potter is not a jedi crossover? you get my attention just with that, but pair it with HK47 the best droid in the Star Wars fandom you can this is a good story with just that.

4.5/5 - would be 5/5 if the author had a consistent update schedule.

Updated. Short chapter, not too exciting, but enjoyable.

Why not? I still think it was better than Noodlehammer's update though.

That's comparing rotten apples to rancid oranges. They're both bad, but they're bad for different reasons.

I suppose . . . one thing I don't understand though is the Ki Adi Mundi hate. I've never seen the clone wars cartoon only the movies.

My advice is to not read this update. It reveals literally nothing new, and only serves to paint everything in a retarded light.

Feel free to go to the library and check out some Shakespear for less wanky literature. This fanfiction is fine in what it sets out to do, wish fulfillment.

What a fucking pretentious attitude. This is fanfiction. There is good fanfiction, there is bad fanfiction. Fanfiction isn't wanky by nature, neither it is always wish fulfillment.

I refuse to lower my standards because of the nature of a written piece. I'm usually more forgiving, sure, but I don't change what I consider to be well written or not.

This story in particular started out on quite a good foot, but then spent the last few chapters going nowhere. That's worthy of criticism.

Just because we'd like this story to be better than it currently is doesn't mean that we're looking for Shakespear.

Okay, so first of all... it wasn't the story that updated, it was the companion side story.

Second of all, I liked it enough that I read it twice.

Sure it doesn't progress the story, but this isn't the story. It's the side story, meant to fill in gaps about what everyone else is doing and what they know. Did we learn anything new? No, not really. Did it progress the story? Also no. But personally I thought it was fun to see what the Jedi think and what's going on behind the scenes so that shit doesn't feel too much like it 'comes out of nowhere' later when the Jedi run into Harry next time.

I didn't think Jedi were the sort to pre-emptively 'deal with' problematic figures.

Ki Adi definitely didn't read like a Jedi to me here.
