Title: The Heads of One Thousand Goblins: A Love Story
    Author: SickleYield
    Rating: T / PG-13
    Genre: Romance
    DLP Category: Misc
    Pairing: Gimli/OC
    Status: Oneshot
Summary: Gimli son of Gloin never forgot the Lady Galadriel. But love can find you in the most unexpected places and the strangest ways...An unusual thing in this section: A Gimli story which does not, repeat, NOT contain any elves. At all.

A fic I read and loved ages ago, that I've just rediscovered. Cute oneshot romance, and one of the only LotR romances I've enjoyed to date.

I like all of Sickleyield's stuff, you guys should check them all out. The Unlikely Heroes series is pretty good imo, my favourite being the first (Lich Phage Marrowice).

Yes, I read it through and thought it was a slash ending, and even after interpreting the circuitous dialogue I feel tricked, but it is an excellent story.
