Thanks, I liked that bit too.

It was short but was the largest I could make it. I just didn't have the heart to write a 10,000 word finale. Thanks for the review.

Heh, thanks to both of you.

Thanks a lot for the review. Things that have happened? I mentioned a few things, others were too unimportant (e.g. Georgina who was cut out from the chapter). What will happen? I'll leave that to your imagination :) (yeah, I'm too much of a lazy arse to write it).

Great story with a fitting end. It's really a bit sad, that it's over, but since you're working on another project... I can't wait for you to post it.

What happened to Salazar the Basilisk?

Great story! I'm new at DLP and hadn't noticed this thread before. I saw your announcement of the epilogue yesterday and read the whole fic in one go (much more enjoyable than Java :) )

He and Harry had a backstage fight and I had to fire one of them...

    Thanks for the reviews guys.

Ahh, it's beautifully perfect! It ended with exactly the way it should - leaving the reader completely satisfied. It was ABOUT time that Harry and Beatrice got together - plus I got what I call the "shiver of awesomeness" down my spine after I was finished. It's hard to think of more words to describe how friggin' awsome this bad boy is - but I think you get my point.

10 out of 10 for the whole series, and for the finale as well.

    Jarem: Thanks.

    Keshin: I'm flattered :)

Gizmore: Thanks. I will keep writing, don't worry.

I thought that the ending was what could be described as a 'perfect one' and you still had the negative side by killing a character and NOT bringing them back to life. Always a plus! Overall, I thought that your entire story was well written, and a good read. It was also good to know that you took the 'Power Known Not' into account.

Way to go. Way. To. Go. That was great. I had been putting this off for so long because it seemed like the typical Harry-goes-back-in-time-and-has-wacky-adventures-with-the-Marauders type story, but you sure as hell proved me wrong. And as others have said numerous times, what a hell of an ending. Congrats on finishing this, I'm sure that it took quite a bit of willpower.

Great job on such a great story.

I started to read this story a while back and got as far as the second chapter before ff.net went wonky. After that I forgot about it, which was my loss (glad I found it again on this excellent forum). I think you've crafted a wonderful story, quite different from what I've read before. Of course there are a few things here and there that could have been done differently*, but all in all an excellent effort.
You should be proud! Thank you for your story.

*But since I couldn't write a story to save my life, pay me little or no heed.

Now this is another great story. I read this one...although my memory on it can't remember all of it. However, it's an excellent story.

Yeah, I first ...-ed when I saw there was suddenly only one chapter and the story summary still says 'completed'.

I actually disliked the original, but still read it because it's in my favorite genre. I will check out this rewrite, see what it is like. If it is different enough we might post a new For Review thread.

Will edit with review of rewrite

Okay I went ahead and read it.

I cannot say the rewrite is anything special so far. Only two chapters and no new plot device or twist has been introduced that gives the story a sense of freshness. I imagine this is mostly for previous fans of the original story but it is too early to tell.

The writer needs a content beta, I see some vocab redundancy, some incorrect usage of words.

Content wise, other than what I said above, it is a little flat. It begins dramatically but doesn't come down from it very well. At any rate he is still setting it up so we shall see.

BUMPING to remind everyone they can still read the original in the DLP.net Archives, where I have 1-24, the complete fic including epilogue.
