Arg, I can't believe I forgot to post this one myself!

Technically, this is the third piece in Kraken's' 20 Truths series. Anyone new to them might want to read the others first, but it not really necessary.

Probably one of the best short form Naruto fics I've ever read, and a damn good look at what would happen to an Immortal!Naruto.

The 'Twenty truths' series is probably the best fanfiction I've read. Gai's story in the series is another absolutely wonderful piece of writing. You will never see the Gai the same way after reading it.

 

Indeed. This one-shot is epic; in fact the entire series of one-shots were awesome and clear standouts from the rest. Twenty Times is still probably handsdown the best Truth format oneshot and probably the best oneshot I've had the fortune of coming across. The style and the prose were brilliant and the implications were original and well thought out. It was realistic and deeply moving for me. 5/5 easily.

 

I loved this fic from the first time I read it, and every once in a while I go back and read it again. I'm always entertained and drawn in. 5/5.

 

I applaud the decision to put this up here.
I didn't know if it had been posted already, but I'm glad it's getting recognition.

5/5, definitely. Kraken's Ghost has superb writing, and wonderful characterization.

 

Probably the best Naruto one shot I've ever read, and has a very interesting premise that is done exceedingly well. Nothing more needs to be said, really.

I've actually talked to Kraken's Ghost through a series of PM's around the time he put out Dues Ex Machina... Pretty cool guy.

Yeah, I remember this one. I posted it over on ADD a while ago.

Apparently he isn't very well liked over there. Ah, whatever. Still a 5/5 story.

 

I've never been able to figure out why people hate him; the only solid answer I ever got was something along the lines of "He is lazy and a liar", which was never explained in a way that made any sense. Someone minds shedding some light on this for me?

 

Basically, the 9 Tailed Fox is sealed within him. For some more background, the 9 Tails is a huge ass monster that killed a good percentage of the people in the village that he currently lives in, including the 3rd Kage [The best ninja that ever lived, without going too far into it]

The villagers all hate him because they think he's basically a seal for that same demon.

 

I think he meant the author.

 

I think I heard some people complaining about how slowly he updates his stories and that he's somewhat overrated. Part of the reason they think he is a liar has to do with his abandoning of Foxhound... I think at least. Not positive.
