Well there HAVE to be some of them but I've never seen one before.
    What I specifically mean:
    1. The Statute of Secrecy has been rescinded.
    2. Not just wizards, but a lot of muggles aren't exactly happy with this possible threat.
    3. Shit starts rolling off the deep end.
    4. War.

    Well, somewhat.
I find the idea of an actual, all-out war between muggles and wizards quite intriguing, seeing as wizardkind would face staggering odds there.
To be honest, I'm not even searching for this specifically, it's just a possible premise for another thing I'm searching for right now:
Tom Riddle leading the armed magical forces together with Dumbledore???
Sounds shitty I know, please don't rip on me too much.

Allllllllllllrighty then. Clearly I'm some manner of Seer, because I can already tell exactly how this thread is going to go.

There are a number of threads that have already covered this topic exhaustively. I suggest you have a gander at them before much else.

There was this series of Harry/Cho stories on FA. Cho was a bitch (like), but the plot went off the deep end (dislike) -- among others, it also featured some kind of wizard/Muggle altercation (huge dislike). You see how shit it was by the fact that I even remember this. Still, knock yourself out: http://forums.darklordpotter.net/showthread.php?t=1030

WiseTomato: Check the Forum again :p

Edit: Dafuq, has ANYONE even looked at the OP beyond the title? o.o

Sesc: he initiated a discussion in addition to the fic search. Thus the link to the previous thread.

On the topic of fic-search though, I just remembered Rise of the Wizards:

    https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6254783/1/Rise-of-the-Wizards

It's a decent read up until the end of 6th year where it jumps the shark. The fic was heading in the direction of wizards vs Muggles at that point. I don't know if the author has got around to that plot point yet though, or is still laying the groundwork.

Edit: Also, the one-shot "Mud, Blood and the Sound of Guns" might interest you, though I vehemently hate it.

Saw it was story search, but given that the OP made a statement firmly backing the Muggles, I figured it'd go off topic rapidly.

I can always ban anyone who tries. There won't be any OT here.

The story is finished and yes, he did conclude the war with the Muggles. (And it didn't just jump the shark, it jumped a tank full of sharks with frickin' laser beams.)

Another with war and the mixing of magical and nonmagical elements is Marquis Black's Emperor. The Dark Wars series by the same author might also be of interest to the OP.

Thanks Taure, already knew Rise of the Wizards, though I quit reading after he Imperio'd the Queen for some reason.
That Flying Squad fic looks absolutely horrible, but I'll take a gander. And I read the first chap of Emperor but wasn't interested. Probably gonna read some more now.
    Any other recommendations?
Now that I think about it I'm also searching for stuff along the lines of The Skitterleap (concerning the military-ness part, not sure if there's much LIKE it)
ALSO, searching for stories during WWII (stuff like Altered Destinies which wasn't bad at all, or Twist of Fate, which I found great till the plot was over and the slash-shipping degenerated it into horse shit)

It has been about 5 years since I quit reading it, but I believe Muggle Summer, Wizard's Fall should be at least somewhat up your alley.
