    Huh, an Orca. Not bad.

I really enjoyed that, though as usual I'm left wanting a bit more in the depth department (completely unreasonable, especially considering the subject matter of a Patronus). Wonder about the variables and how they influence the choice, and if there's any logic behind where the terms lead.

From the article on Patronuses -

Damn, that gets me curious about the story behind it.

    Bloodhound. Nice.

Whatever, if I'll someday write self-insert, its patronus will be dragon.

I have a few Pottermore accounts, so I tried to run through the test while in the mindset of one of the characters.

The saucy, tough-minded but extroverted Hufflepuff/Wampus has a shrew

The exploration, sailing, and language-focused Slytherin/HornedSerpent has an eagle.

I liked the interface of it- the way the mouse trails look like sparks from your wand trying to build the Patronus. Didn't have the sound on, so I can't speak to the audio portion.

I liked that there was essentially an 'extra' option for every choice if you didn't pick fast enough - happened to me two or three times. They nailed the time limit on that in my opinion, long enough you had time to pick if you knew the answer but not long enough if you didn't have a gut reaction and were just going to overthink it.

I don't know, some people (like me) get flustered when put on a time limit like that and tend to choose on random. You could argue that that 'random' is your gut instinct, but there was at least one part when I instantly regretted my choice.

What I liked was the fact that if you didn't pick fast enough you didn't get to pick. Which in itself was a choice. If your memory or gut instinct doesn't respond to A, B, or C... then you get marked as "no response" for that one, which is probably factored into which animal you get. I like that I'm not forced to pick between three options when none of them resonate with me at all.

I didn't wait around to see what would happen if the time ran out, but that's an interesting way of doing things I guess.

    I got an eagle.

I find it pretty darn accurate.
