Lord Darth Master seems to be the absolute uncontested best author in the KOTOR fandom, and finest after blank101 in all Star Wars fanfiction. No one else comes even remotely close.

Vash, you could've claimed that title, but you abandoned Cries of the Suffering after one chapter. Bastard.

That is a pretty fucking awesome story. I still think that Revan should be able to own Vader, but it's not a big deal in the face of how good the story is.

The author says it's 'shelved'. No more updates.

Wasted a good chunk of time on that.

The Son of Suns trilogy is defineatly worth reading. One of the best I have read so far.

The Last Jedi by Darth Marrs is also starting to look really good.

Features hundreds of years after the movies, where all force sensitives have been nearly whipped out.
The author has stable updaterates. The plotline of the story is sound with a clear aim in mind. I also thinking the pacing is done well.

And yes, lurker until a read this post, guess ex now.
Well anyway, happy to be here.

Just finished reading through this (300k words!), and I agree with everything you say. I thought it was pretty good overall. However, the authors have a fetish for jewels on clothing with nauseating color combinations. There was at least one description of an outfit for every chapter, and this is an underestimation.

EDIT: The Last Jedi is decent. Some of Darth Marrs' stuff isn't that great (and his writing style is sometimes a little odd), but this story is engaging enough.

The Last Jedi is good. I really liked it. But yeah, like Silverlasso said, Darth Marrs' other stories, especially his harem series, are just wince worthy.

    Sanctuary of Time chapter 1 - 8

This story is very very good. I will edit later once I go through it's thread at another site and link the rest of the chapters. It's mixed up with comments so I have to wade through it all.

Unfortunately it looks to be abandoned.

Shameless bump, but this really doesn't deserve a new thread.

I'm basically looking for Star Wars tales that have a divergence on Dagobah. Ones where Luke doesn't fly off the Cloud CIty after his vision and heeds Yoda.

"If you honor what they fight for? Yes"

They don't have to be particularly great, just readable. I'm just trying to scratch a SW itch.

I've only been able to find this guy so far (from googling Yoda's quote, heh)... and it's all right i guess. Shade under almost recommended.

There was an idea on SpaceBattles or somewhere else along the lines of Luke missing the shot at the Death Star. And so, Leia and a good chunk of the Rebel Alliance are dead and Luke, Han, and Chewbacca have to figure out what the hell to do. Have there been any storylines along that plotline?
