700 Users!

I'm a bit late ain't I. Oh well, better late than never I suppose. I'm just wondering if it is possible to tell how many of those 700 users has actually posted one message? I know a lot of the newer members are regular posters, but how does the overall posting to user ratio pan out (where posting = the user has posted at least one post since joining)?

 

Everyone posts at least one post; I'd be more interested in seeing how many people post over 20 times and for those who post more than 50 times, how often do they post and where... Game and postwhoring numbers do not apply. If someone joins and has only made 5 posts outside of a game thread I don't count them.

I'd say around 200 folks with numbers above 20, some don't post that often, and then you have some that seem to only exist to Pm the shit out of others

Probably a great majority of the first 100-150+ folks who signed up, don't post at all, or never have. They were here when the site opened, took a bit to get it going, then they left and never came back *shrug*.

 

Interesting! Are the ones who do this mostly authors? This might be an example of the place being used as a faciliator for betas, editors and other fine friends who help bring us the fics we all love so much! Otherwise that's about what I expected. I think there are alot of lurkers or people who don't bother signing in unless they have something to say (they never have anything to say) and are just using the site as a way to get good recomendations.

Ehh... that's their loss then. Or maybe the got pissed at that featherturtle guy and never came back? I know as I've said before it was an almost thing for me-- I made a post shaortly after I registered my username and didn't come back for almost four to six weeks (IIRC) after that post just disappeared. I'm glad I did come back though! You guys (and gals) are a lot of fun! :cheers:
