    Nice work Amerision, definitely deserved it. TFTCD was suprising as it doesn't seem very 'noir' to me either.

    i voted for stranger in a holy land. i thought that story was pretty damn bleak for the whole majority of it. though i enjoyed the happy ending, there were times i was so confused whether voldemort or harry would prevail in the end.

    Good job Amerision, and great story, very noir-ish lol.
    The second and third are a bit iffy to me, gore is great but doesn't always cut it for me and TFTCD just doesn't seem like a noir at all...

    I also agree with Darius: Song of the Trees should have gotten second/first; I can't decide whether Equal and Opposite or Song of the Trees was better.
