That was legit super fun, although I really didn't expect to win since I was so late to get to 19/20 haha. Props to the chaps on IRC cussing it out together.

 

Fuck, pretty proud I got 19/20, and I literally never would have guessed the one I was missing (10) so can't be too unhappy.

I took one look at the list, got 12 GP and Nitwit-Blubber right away and then didn't even bother with rest, knowing that if I tried and failed to get everything, I would be pissed at myself.

So I'm already coming up with a second quiz to follow this one - maybe we could schedule it for New Year?

I feel like I've got a good sense from this as to which kinds of question work better than others. The trick being for them to be hard but fair. For example, "The Dementors of Azkaban" was hard but a bit unfair because it was just too random, whereas "Alas, ear wax!" was hard but also a famous line so fair.

Would be cool if we could think of a fun prize for quiz #2 that doesn't involve me paying money haha. Maybe the mods could think of something?

 

I feel like this quiz was done for fun and maybe to show off some Hp knowledge anyways. (I only got three and then had to go back to writing essays)

Maybe if this becomes a regular thing there could just be a leaderboard of how many wins people had.

Seriously Taure, nice work. I figured when I read it that the winner had already thrown in his answers so I only took a cursory glance but there's no way in hell I would have gotten some of those.

No. 1 was a headfuck for example.

Also, I always think of it as, Harry, Cedric, Viktor and Fleur which might have thrown me.

I'm not sexist, it just rhymes off better that way.
