Haven't tried it myself, was just going by the post above (which implies it's doable).
So how do we get a signed book?
Started reading earlier today on Kindle. Good stuff so far, folks.
Should be a link on DLP, I think.
As in, I'm disappointed that there isn't already.
Right about here;
Calibre has tools or extensions or whatever you want to call them that can be used to remove DRM from these books. When I tried to convert it to pdf I got the DRM notice but a quick google search gave me the answers and I had my converted book in less than 10 minutes.
So don't worry it is possible to convert it, as long as you don't use your new DRM free book for evil like not supporting DLP.
Super awesome! Any chance you'll release on Smashwords once the 90-day exclusive is up? You get 85% and I get legit DRM-free ePub. I would assume you can opt out of the other platforms (so you can get the 65% going direct to B&N) but I'm not sure.
Eh, even so, Amazon still seems to offer the best deal. And I reckon most can make an Amazon purchase work.
Blow me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Smashwords would work in our favour here, beyond a few who resolutely refuse to use Amazon.
do not own a credit card, cant buy off the internet. thats why I'm waiting for the book release. so I can rec it to a friend and get it for free when she inivitably forget it on my bedside table
I decided that I don't really need to read uni textbooks (they can only help me get my degree) and finished this in a night. There's some stories that I really liked and some that I didn't really enjoy and a few in between. All in all though a nice solid offering.
Okay, so you now have two options to purchase the DLP Anthology in paperback:
Go and buy some awesome gawd-damn stories! Buy for your friends, your dog, yourself.
And would you believe, my fellow authors in the anthology, all of your names are featured on the paperback page. How 'bout that?
Hoooooray. Do I have to buy one?
Coolness. Picked up a couple of copies just now.
Ordered the ten copies through CreateSpace yesterday for various friends/relatives/the pretentious writer's collective I'm a part of. Definitely looking forward to them coming in.
Just placed my order.
Now I have to know - whose name is Shaquille?
You, Zennith? You must by 7 copies.
Seriously, it depends. I won't be able to send author copies out to late-Feb, early March, as I'm about to set off travelling and won't have a base of operations to send them until then, so entirely entirely depends on how quickly you want to hold a delicious, delicious copy.
Same as Silens and Pers, caught a few copies for relatives/friends/bragging via createspace.
Just ordered one. My shelf hungers.
EDIT: Also, holy shit, MattSilver's name is actually Matt Silver. THE GAME IS AFOOT, ZUCKERBERG.
Nah, that's SwimDraconian, MattSilver is somebody else. Because really, what kind of strange person uses their real name on a forum like DLP...
Paperback copy is like 30$ with shipping in canada because it's only from amazon.com
Is there a way to put the paperback copy with amazon.ca Joe?
Picking up a prepaid credit card at the first opportunity. This is most definitely gonna be a must read.
Separate names with a comma.
